Equivalent Modeling of the Radiation of Microwave Circuits with Irregular Ground Plane

Modeling and analyzing radio-frequency interference of microwave circuits is a challenge task due to increasingly high integration density and surrounding complex environment. In this paper, an efficient equivalent modeling method of microwave circuits with irregular ground plane is proposed and verified. Radiated fields above and below the ground plane can be accurately evaluated with superior efficiency compared to full-wave numerical methods. This method provides a promising candidate for solving radio-frequency interference problems of microwave circuits.
