Abstract
The safe operation of transmission lines depends largely on the cleaning and protection of the corridors. The tall trees in the corridors have a great impact on the safety of transmission lines. The statistics of tree information of transmission line corridor is of great significance to the compensation work of transmission line and the confirmation of disputes between the participating parties. In this paper, a method of tree number height estimation based on multi-source data fusion is proposed, which makes comprehensive use of the advantages of image data and laser point cloud data to improve the accuracy of tree number and height information in complex scenarios of transmission line corridors. The accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method are verified by comparing the automatic calculation results with the manual statistics results. The results show that the proposed method has the characteristics of small error and high efficiency, and is conducive to the statistics of tree information in the acceptance of transmission line corridors.
