Calculation Method of Power and Electricity Balance Considering Demand Response

Demand response is an important means to tap the flexibility of the user side. Through demand response, the power load can "move with the wind and light", thus reducing the volatility of the net load curve. Therefore, the participation of demand response in power and energy balance is a new idea to solve the problem of power and energy balance, whose main role is to ensure supply and promote consumption. In this paper, through the method of time series production simulation, two methods of pre demand response and post demand response are constructed to calculate a provincial grid by five years from 2025 to 2060. The calculation results show that post demand response can effectively improve the power shortage of the system, significantly promote the consumption of new energy sources and reduce carbon emissions of the system. The pre demand response will not necessarily improve the power shortage of the system, and has little effect on promoting new energy consumption and reducing carbon emissions of the system.
