Liquid-Metal-Based SERS Sensors for Trace Analyte Detection

Abstract
We demonstrate a new type of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) sensors employing liquid- metal-based nanophotonic structures. These SERS sensors are realized with simple lithography-free fabrication, allow for efficient analyte delivery using a straightforward procedure, and exhibit much higher SERS enhancement than gold nanoparticles on a substrate.
