Nanofabrication of EGaIn Liquid Metal Near-Infrared Photonic Structures

We demonstrate nanofabrication of eutectic gallium-indium (EGaIn) liquid metal (LM) nanostructures using a facile and reliable method based on selective wetting between gold and EGaIn LM. Nanostructures with critical feature sizes down to similar to 500 nm are achieved, which show optical responses in the near-infrared region.
