Abstract
We propose theoretical modeling of a novel configuration for broadband parametric amplification under quasi-phase-matched difference-frequency-generation in thin film lithium niobate waveguides on-insulator that allows pump and signal to propagate as guided modes of the rib-waveguide while idler being guided in the thin film region.
