Abstract
The fault analysis of the grid-connected system of offshore wind farm and the design of protection and control schemes to cope with faults have always been hot research issues. Most of the existing research conclusions rely on simulation models to verify their effectiveness, and there are unavoidable errors between simplified models of large-scale wind farms and actual offshore wind projects. In order to restore the real situation of the grid-connected system fault of offshore wind farm to the greatest extent, this paper studies the real case of an offshore wind farm grid-connected transmission lines fault during commissioning. In this paper, transient characteristics of each component in three stages of charging stage, system fault stage and system disruption stage are analyzed, and the action behavior of the system configuration protection during the accident is evaluated, and the actual recording data of the accident verify the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
