Dispatching Strategy Based on Energy Storage Loss and Data-Driven for Urban Integrated PV and Energy Storage Charging Station

PES-CS is an asset-heavy project. A single scheduling strategy cannot be applied to all scenarios that are built in different locations and have different daily charging peaks. This paper proposes an urban PES-CS scheduling strategy based on energy storage loss and data-driven. Through analyzing historical data and formulating a scheduling strategy based on user charging and discharging preferences, reduces the energy storage loss of PES-CS in daily operation, and extends the energy storage usage time. First, a model of system revenue and energy storage loss is established according to the operating characteristics of the system. Second, a PES-CS operation scheduling strategy targeting decreased energy storage loss is proposed by analyzing historical operating data. Finally, using the accurate PES-CS historical operation data for simulation verification. The simulation results show that the proposed dispatching strategy not only can effectively reduce the pressure of PES-CS on the power grid during the peak power period, but also reduce the degradation cost of energy storage and improve the economic benefits of PES-CS.
