An Optimized Configuration Method for MESV Connected to VPP

To improve the power supply reliability and flexibility of the grid, this paper uses the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) technology to virtualise the grid and the multiple groups of storage and Mobile Energy Storage Vehicle (MESV) in the region into a geographically dispersed but uniformly dispatchable and manageable power plant. By comparing its differences with conventional operation, the VPP optimal dispatching strategy is designed. Based on a mathematical model with the objective function of the VPP's economic return and the lowest grid losses, grid operation constraints and MESV operation constraints, the optimal allocation scheme is obtained by calculating the output of each VPP component in each time period through a genetic algorithm. The results show that the optimal allocation model can verify the applicability of the proposed optimization strategy.
