摘要
High temperature superconducting (HTS) no-insulation (NI) coils exhibit exceptional thermal and mechanical stability, making them highly promising for high-field magnet applications. In large-scale deployments, these coils are often interconnected in series or parallel configurations. However, the intricate fabrication processes of HTS tapes and NI coils introduce uncertainties. Notably, critical parameters, such as turn-to-turn conductivity, may vary even among components from the same manufacturer. This study delves into the charging characteristics of multi-coil magnet systems in the presence of uneven parameters. Initially, we assemble two coils to create a multi-coil magnet system. Subsequently, we employ 3D charge simulations to investigate the impact of different connection modes and current injection methods on the charge-discharge characteristics. Finally, we propose an optimized charging strategy to enhance the efficiency and stability of multi-coil magnet systems.
