Abstract
Persistent pneumatoceles in neonates increase mortality, and little literature regarding emergent treatment in a decompensating patient exists. We present the emergent management of a pneumatocele in a decompensating neonate by isolation with a Fogarty catheter. Chest radiograph showing contrast in Fogarty catheter to visualize placement for isolation of pneumatocele in the right lung of a neonate.image
