Abstract
The imprecise calculation of the average winding temperature rise in the design of cast-resin dry-type transformers is a difficult problem, and at present, engineers mainly use the empirical formula method to calculate the average winding temperature rise, while the calculation using simulation is more accurate, but the complexity of modeling and the long time of the calculation are also troubling the engineers. Therefore, in order to calculate the temperature rise of dry-type transformer windings quickly and easily, this paper proposes a fast algorithm for reduced order of temperature rise of dry-type transformer windings based on equivalent thermal conductivity, and the tolerance of the average temperature rise of the windings calculated by using this method is less than 3%, which meets the needs of engineering design..
