Abstract
The Gamma-rays in the MeV range are rich with scientific potential, whereas the sensitivity of telescopes operating in this range is much more worse than neighboring ranges. 3-D position-sensitive semiconductor detectors with high spatial resolution and high energy resolution shed new light on exploring this range. MASS-Cube is a CubeSat Compton telescope using pixelated CdZnTe detectors, based on the successful experiences of GRID CubeSat mission. Simulations and experiments have been done to evaluate the performances. A sub-millimeter position resolution and an energy resolution of ~1% at 662 keV is achieved.
