Abstract
•The excitable ZnPc/TiO2 composites in company with Uv-vis light were prepared by the sol-gel method.•It was observed that photocatalytic activity of ZnPc/TiO2 nanocomposite on the amoxicillin antibiotic molecules was evaluated by followed chromatographic process at different pH media.•LC-MS/MS analyses were performed to pursue prospective degradation products of amoxicillin broken with ZnPc/TiO2 at pH 11, which is higher degradation efficiency.•To determine of mineralization of amoxicillin, total organic carbon (TOC) test was performed.•LC-MS/MS and TOC results have explained that AMX degraded successfully, but not completely mineralization.
