Room temperature solid electrolyte ozone sensor based on Ag-doped SnO2

In this paper, SnO2 was synthesized using MOFs as a sacrificial template, and Ag-doped SnO2 composite was synthesized by reducing AgNO3 with NaBH4, and O3 sensors were prepared using sodium superionic conductor (NASICON) as a solid electrolyte. At room temperature, the gas-sensitive experimental tests showed that the response of the sensor with 3 wt% Ag-SnO2 to 180-420 ppb O3 increased by about 57% and the sensitivity increased by 9.9% compared to the pure SnO2 sensor. The repeatability and stability of the 3 wt% Ag-SnO2 sensor were tested at 240 ppb O3, and the results showed that the repeatability of the sensor varied between - 2% and 2%, and the stability varied between - 4% and 4%. Therefore, the solid electrolyte sensor prepared by the excellent Ag-doped SnO2 composite material has a good application prospect in the detection of lowconcentration O3.
