Ultra-Fast Photonic-Assisted Spintronics-CMOS Computing

This talk discusses the advantages of leveraging photonics with spintronics devices while using CMOS interfacing circuits, such as high speed, energy-efficient, and higher sensitivity. Three approaches are discussed here, first is the all-optical switching magnetic elements, second is as temperature effect on the system which shows performance improvement, and third is photonic-assisted memristor spin nano-oscillator neural networks which can lead to a futuristic approach for a neuromorphic chip.
