Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) show substantial potential and impressive development prospects in persulfate-based advanced oxidation (SR-AOPs) due to their exceptional structural advantages. Nevertheless, the structural characteristics, catalytic performance, and catalytic mechanism of lanthanide metal-doped MOFs (La-MOFs) remain unclear. Therefore, we prepared lanthanum-nitrogen co-doped hollow carbon nanofibers (La-HCNFs) through electrospinning and pyrolysis to study the structure, catalytic activity, and mechanism of La-MOFs. Furthermore, we analyzed the physicochemical properties of La-HCNFs with a range of characterisa-tion techniques, and examined the catalytic oxidation mechanism with quenching experiments. Finally, this study clarifies the role of SR-AOPs in La-MOFs and indicates pathways for future research on La-MOFs materials, in order to advance the use of MOFs materials in environmental chemistry and sustainable catalysis.
