摘要
Aptamers are single-stranded DNA or RNA oligonucleotides (often 20–80 bases in length with ~6–30 kDa molecular weight). They are made for a specific and variety of targets ranging from small ions to an entire organism, such as ATP, proteins, peptides, amino acids, viruses, whole cells, receptors, antibiotics, small chemicals, antigens, or even metal ions compared to the antibodies and enzymes. One of their most important features is having high affinity and specificity.
