Abstract
This paper aims to use blockchain technology to promote the development of the "single contract" system to solve the critical problems of multimodal transport process optimization. Firstly, we study the development process and current research status of blockchain technology and multimodal transport "single contract" systems. The bottleneck of developing a multimodal transport "single contract" system in the blockchain application in the sharing platform is identified. Based on the aforementioned research, and combined with Petri network theory, we propose to establish a multimodal transport process model and optimization model by taking sea-rail intermodal transport as an example. It also presents the construction of a blockchain-based information-sharing platform for a multimodal transport "single contract" system. This paper applies blockchain technology to multimodal transport business, enabling different enterprises and departments to integrate their business, realize the barrier-free transmission of information, and shorten the business process time, thus promoting the construction and development of multimodal transport system.
