Tailoring the spontaneous emission of nanocube perovskites

The casuistry reviewed in this chapter demonstrates the richness of the spontaneous emission (SE) features, which links both intrinsic and extrinsic material properties, together to the interaction with the closest environment and ordered structures. We will present three SE regimens, which corresponds to the interaction of the nanocube emission with different designs and photonic structures: SE of single perovskites nanocubes (PNC), enhanced PNC SE by cavity and metamaterial photonic structures, and finally coherent SE (superradiance) by perovskite supercrystals (SC). Overall, light matter interaction with perovskites nanostructures represents a hot field of research with many important contributions to the development of new devices and outstanding light emission features, including new ways to obtain coherent emission, control of the photon statistics, and its interaction with light modes; and thus produce new possibilities to develop quantum devices and applications.
