Endoscopic Endonasal Approach for Skull Base Tumors in Patients Presenting with Monocular Blindness

Introduction: Endoscopic endonasal approach (EEA) is a minimally invasive approach used to access the skull base from the frontal sinus anteriorly to the odontoid posteriorly. Visual decline is the most common presenting symptom of tumors involving the suprasellar space. Patients presenting with complete preoperative monocular blindness are a rare and understudied subgroup and this study aims to explore patient and tumor characteristics, management, and postoperative visual outcomes.
