Озера Тальской группы (Магаданская область) - перспективный объект для палеоклиматических реконструкций конца позднего плейстоцена и голоцена

The results of coring the Talaya group glacial lakes (Gryazevoye, Shchuchye, Goluboye, Nalimnoye), located in Magadan Oblast, are presented. Bathymetric maps were constructed; the thickness and structure of the lake sedimentary covers were determined. Magnetic characteristics of volcanic and glacial rocks as well as those of tephra are given. The nature of sedimentation in the lakes is compared. The transition interval from the Late Pleistocene to the Holocene is characterized by sediments from Lake Gryazevoye. Petromagnetic, geochemical, diatom, and palinological indicators of changes in the natural environment are exposed.
