Endovascular Options in the Surgical Management of Pancreatic Cancer Patients

Purpose: Endovascular surgery is nowadays considered a primary treatment in several clinical scenarios. In pancreatic surgery, endovascular techniques can be used across all phases of perioperative management of pancreatic cancer patients. Hemorrhagic complications due to visceral artery bleeding, preoperative treatment of visceral artery stenosis or postoperative management of arterial reconstructions, are possible indications for the use of these techniques.
