Fernando Henrique Lermen () is Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the UFRGS. He holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Graduate Program from the UFRGS, Brazil. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Agroindustrial Engineering. He is an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Paraná and Visiting Professor at Universidad Tecnológica de Peru. His research mainly spans the topics of lean, product development, product-service system, sustainability, and agroindustry. Vera Lúcia Milani Martins () holds a B.S. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the UFRGS. She is an Associate Professor of Statistical at the Federal Institute of the Education, Science, and Technology of the Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS), Brazil. Bachelor in Statistics. Her research interests include Forecast Combination, Multivariate Analysis, and Statistics Applied. Márcia Elisa Echeveste () holds a B.S. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the UFRGS. She is a Full Professor in the Statistics Department and in the Industrial Engineering Graduate Program at UFRGS. Her current research interests include the study of new product development (NPD) methods, quality engineering, statistics analysis, and innovation methods. Filipe Ribeiro () is currently a software engineer at Hewlett Packard Incorporation (HP Inc.). He holds a technologist degree in systems development analysis at the tecBrasil School of Technology. His current research interests include the study of Artificial Neural Networks, Deep Learning, and Programming. Carla Beatriz da Luz Peralta () is a Ph.D. by the Graduate Program in Industrial Engineering from the UFRGS. She holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Federal University of Pampa where she is currently a Professor. Her current research interests include the study of new product development methods, lean startup, and conjoint analysis. José Luis Duarte Ribeiro () is currently a Full Professor at the Industrial Engineering Department, the UFRGS, where he coordinates the Office of Technological Development (SEDETEC/UFRGS). From 1998 to 2001 he was the President of the Brazilian Society for Industrial Engineering. He is the author of numerous works on innovation, sustainability, product development, quality engineering, reliability, and quantitative methods applied to industrial engineering.
