Abstract
With the increasingly stringent emission regulations in the shipping industry and the advancement of science and technology, clean fuels and new energy sources are being applied to ships in the form of hybrid power systems. However, the complexity of operating conditions and strong time-varying nature increase the probability of equipment faults, which poses serious threats to the safe operation of the hybrid power system and causes hidden risks to the safety of the ship and crew. Therefore, to guarantee the safe and reliable operation of the hybrid power system of multi-energy, it is essential to carry out research on the safety protection of the hybrid power system. The monitoring and security control system designed for the gas-electric hybrid power system of the ship has been tested and proved to be stable, functional and with effective monitoring and protection effect.
