AB016. SOH23ABS_172. Effect of magseed localisation technique on patients’ quality of life

Background: Advances in systemic treatment for breast cancer have resulted in smaller tumour sizes at the time of surgery. Consequently, the need for accurate localisation of these tumours is essential. Currently, wire guided excision of impalpable breast lesions is the standard of care. Magseed is a novel approach whereby a magnetic pellet can be inserted into the tumour bed days before a procedure. Our institution began utilising the Magseed in January 2022. The purpose of this study is to assess patient QoL and satisfaction with Magseed localisation technique in our institution.
