Este estudio tuvo como objetivo identificar los factores sociodemográficos, sociolaborales y académicos que se asocian a la alfabetización digital del profesorado de secundaria en la ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán, México. La metodología utilizada fue de carácter cuantitativo; el instrumento está basado en una escala tipo Likert que evaluó las dimensiones de la competencia digital del profesorado: cognitiva, instrumental y didáctico-metodológica. El estudio se centró en dos escuelas, con una muestra de 37 docentes. Los resultados obtenidos indicaron que las variables de edad, capacitación y las instalaciones de la escuela donde laboran, se relacionaban significativamente con el nivel de alfabetización digital. Se concluyó que la mayoría de los docentes se percibía competente en las dimensiones instrumental y didáctico-metodológica. Sin embargo, casi la mitad de la muestra manifestó tener mayor dificultad en la dimensión cognitiva. The digital literacy of secondary school teachers in the city of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico Abstract The objective of this study was to identify the sociodemographic, socio-labor and academic factors associated with the digital literacy of secondary school teachers in the city of Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. The methodology used was quantitative, the instrument is based on Likert-type scale that evaluated the dimensions of teachers’ digital competence: cognitive, instrumental and didactic-methodological. The study focused on two schools, with a sample of 37 teachers. The results obtained indicated that the variables of age, training, and the facilities of the school where they work were significantly related to the level of digital literacy. It was concluded that most of the teachers perceived themselves as competent in the instrumental and didactic-methodological dimensions. However, almost half of the sample reported greater difficulty in the cognitive dimension.
