Definitive chemoradiation therapy with docetaxel, nedaplatin, and 5-fluorouracil (DNF-R) for locally advanced esophageal cancer - long-term follow-up

The development of novel regimens in definitive chemoradiotherapy (CRT) for esophageal cancer (EC) remains in the doldrums, whereas chemotherapy for advanced cases has been developed with the emergence of ICI. We have conducted studies of CRT using docetaxel, nedaplatin, and 5-FU (DNF-R). We analyzed the results of DNF-R for stage IVa EC and assessed the optimal strategy for those cases.
