摘要
This brief devises an efficient resonant pole inverter with the aim of the further efficiency optimization and auxiliary circuit simplification. The concise design method is as follows: one resonant inductor is in series with at least one resonant capacitor in any closed loop to ensure that no current flows through resonant inductors in the non-resonance state, bringing about the lower loss of resonant inductors; during each switching cycle, few auxiliary devices are involved in the operation of the devised inverter, placing restrictions on the loss of auxiliary circuits; in particular, no auxiliary diodes are arranged in the auxiliary circuits, making for the further auxiliary circuit simplification. This brief states every operating status during a switching cycle. The relevant experiment corroborates that main switches obtain the ability of zero-voltage switching. The efficiency value of the devised inverter runs to 99% at rating condition which is 1% and 1.4% higher than that of another two latest inverters for comparison, respectively. The comparative test also corroborates that the devised inverter without auxiliary diodes transcends other resonant pole inverters in the field of the efficiency.
