Functionalization of Dodecaborates by Mild and Efficient Pd‐Catalyzed Formation of B−C Bonds with Boronic Acids

The toolbox is full of boronic acids for Suzuki–Miyaura coupling. To connect them to the dodecaborate cluster, special tools are necessary: iodine as leaving group on the dodecaborate, DavePhos as special ligand, and solvents that differ for electron-rich and electron-poor boronic acids.
