摘要
Abstract This chapter focuses on digital interventions for nonsuicidal self-injury. In line with the presence and influence of new media in daily life, Internet-based websites and applications have become popular places for clinical and broader public health interventions. The proliferation of new digital technologies has resulted in considerations about how to best design resources capable of meeting people in online spaces and how to augment the accessibility of existing evidence-based interventions. Thus, researchers, clinicians, and other health service professionals must be aware of how to assess the strengths and limitations of digital offerings. The chapter discusses existing clinical trials of digital interventions, such as Autobiographical Self-Enhancement Training (ASET) and Self-injury: Treatment, Assessment and Recovery (STAR). It also considers user engagement, safety, privacy, risk management, ethics, and the accessibility of digital interventions.
