摘要
Objectives: Determining some factors affecting the quality of life patient’s after percutaneous coronary intervention used the HeartQoL scale at Hanoi Heart Hospital. Methods & Results: According to the formula for calculating sample size for a given ratio, we conducted a study on 150 patients after percutaneous coronary intervention at Hanoi Heart Hospital from June 2020 to the end of February 2021. We used the Heart QoL questionnaire to assess the quality of life of patients before and after coronary intervention at 1 month, 3 months and 6 months. The mean age in the study was 63,7 ± 10,3 years (66,7% male) had measured by HeartQoL score. There was a difference in the quality of life score of patients after percutaneous coronary intervention compared with before intervention (2,1 ± 0,4 to 2,5 ± 0,3; p< 0,001). Quality of life scores in the physical area improved significantly after the intervention from 1,9 ± 0,4 before PCI to 2,4 ± 0,4 after PCI (p < 0,05). The factors of age, gender, education level, income level, health status, chest pain status, NYHA level related to the quality of life patient’s after PCI (p < 0,05). Conclusion: The patient's quality of life improved after 6 months of intervention. The characteristics of age, gender, education level, income level, chest pain status after PCI, NYHA level and health status were related to the quality of life patient’s after PCI.
