Research and Test of Intelligent Separate Production and Measurement Technology in Horizontal Wells

Horizontal well development is an important means to improve oil well production, but the water cut of horizontal well rises rapidly after water breakthrough, which is more difficult to control than that of vertical well. In order to realize the long-term continuous monitoring of layered pressure, flow, temperature and other parameters of horizontal wells and realize the long-term effective water regulation of horizontal wells, the research and application of intelligent separate production and separate measurement technology of horizontal wells are carried out. The technology is mainly composed of measurement and control integrated production distributor, Y341 packer, upper connector of butt joint, lower connector of butt joint, removable tubing anchor, cable preset device, steel ball centralizer, card release device and ground control system. Flowmeter, pressure gauge, thermometer, regulating valve and control circuit modules are preset in the measurement and control integrated production distributor. The process string is designed as a release string, which is released and connected back at the disconnection system to provide power for downhole tools and transmit downhole storage signals. The downhole data can be monitored in real time and the downhole flow control valve can be adjusted through the ground control system. At present, the technology has been applied in 4 wells, and obvious water cut control effect has been seen. The cumulative liquid drop is 1900m3 and the cumulative oil increase is 123t. The intelligent separate production and separate measurement technology of horizontal wells can provide continuous and accurate data for reservoir analysis, realize the dynamic adjustment of horizontal well production, and provide reference for the development of layered oil production technology in the direction of digitization and intelligence.
