The Genomic Profiles and Clinical Manifestations of Sporadic Meningiomas Vary amongst Racial and Ethnic Groups

Introduction: While socioeconomic factors for racial disparities among sporadic meningioma patients have been explored, other potential influences are poorly understood. Indeed, a Hispanic paradox has been described in medicine such that despite similar socioeconomic constraints as other minorities, Hispanic patients tend to have better outcomes compared with Black patients. Thus, an understanding of potential biological differences in patients of different races and ethnicities could be valuable.
