Abstract
Emotions mobilize the body, via integrated systems closely associated to the most robust anatomical pathways of connectional systems: hypothalamus, structures in brainstem, medulla linked to the body. Theories of functional neuroanatomy of emotion range from single-system models, with the same neural system underlies all emotions, that propose a combination of some common brain systems across all emotions, allied with separable regions dedicated to multiple-system models in the processing of individual emotions such as fear, disgust and anger
