Background: Full body skin exams (FBSEs) are important tools in skin cancer prevention. Recent literature suggests that certain lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) populations may experience higher rates of skin cancer and lower rates of overall cancer screening. However, little is known about experiences and attitudes of LGBTQ+ patients toward FBSEs.
