Abstract
A novel half-sandwich Co(dppbsa) ([Co]) was synthesized and employed for the catalytic N , N -dimethylation of nitroaromatics with CO 2 and hydrosilane. The same catalyst also enabled the highly efficient reduction of nitroaromatics to aromatic amines.
