Investigation on the Method and Effects of Water Control by Blind Pipe in Multi-layer Combined Production Wells

At the same time, water control tests were carried out under the condition of applying blind control water in different liquid producing layers to study the influence of water control by blind pipe on multi-layer co-production. Studies have shown that a well may pass through multiple oil-bearing zones during production, resulting in multiple zones of development. Through fluid numerical simulation experiment, the effect of blind water control in multi-layer co-production well is verified, and the water control model suitable for multi-layer co-production well is optimized. The research results can provide technical guidance for water control and enhance oil recovery by blind pipes in the target oil reservoirs.
