摘要
Abstract Early access to standardized services is crucial for preventing the majority of maternal deaths. Early detection of at-risk pregnancies involves identifying pregnant women who have obstetric risk factors and complications in order to prevent adverse outcomes. Identifying risk factors in mothers, through the collaboration of healthcare professionals and the community, plays a crucial role in preventing maternal morbidity and mortality. This research is a phenomenological study that includes professionals in health service promotion, obstetrician-gynecologists, as well as cadres and pregnant women who receive these services. The participants were chosen using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria for inclusion. Data was collected through in-depth interviews lasting between 30 to 60 minutes. The transcribed interviews were analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The analysis revealed that four program policies aimed at early detection of at-risk pregnancies have not been enforced. Additionally, obstacles were identified in the implementation of the program, specifically related to funding and inadequate human resources support. There is a lack of sufficient knowledge and training among cadres regarding the early detection of at-risk pregnancies. Additionally, the available information on this topic is limited. The findings indicate the necessity of enhancing special program policies for early identification of high-risk pregnancies, which should be accompanied by sufficient human resources, particularly trained personnel, as well as financial support and infrastructure from the government. The authors aim to enhance early detection of at-risk pregnancies by empowering cadres and utilizing information technology, specifically the "KABARI" model, recognized as a digital health promotion approach.
