摘要
Background Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a devastating disease with one of the lowest 5-year survival rates of all solid tumors. Although multiple therapeutic strategies have been explored to improve the survival of PDAC patients, the outcome is still limited. Henceforth, the exploration of a promising biomarker, which assist in decision making before PDAC surgery is very crucial. In this study, we investigated the importance of CD73, a multifunctional ectoenzyme affecting both tumor cells and immune cells, which hijacks the tumor microenvironment and promotestumor progression.
