摘要

Biliary and pancreatic duct stents are widely used for a variety of benign and malignant indications. The growth of interventional EUS has ushered in new varieties of plastic and metal stents incorporating antimigration features. Although pilot studies have introduced the concept of using biodegradable stents, much more research and innovation are needed before their regular use in the pancreaticobiliary tract.
