摘要
This chapter focuses on the application of fractional nonlinear synergetic control for a wind power generation system. The studied system is composed of a wind turbine and a double-fed induction generator. For the first part of the variable-speed wind energy conversion system (the turbine), we present the design of a fractional nonlinear synergetic controller (FNSC) applied to achieve maximum power point tracking. The objective of the control is to maximize the power output provided by an energy conversion system by improving its efficiency. For the generator part, we present the field-oriented control strategy using the nonlinear synergetic control applied for the set-point tracking. In order to compare the results of the nonlinear synergetic control, several controllers are tested in a Simulink/MATLAB environment. These simulation results show excellent results of the nonlinear synergetic control compared to the other controller.
