Abstract
The use of wireless power transfer (WPT) to charge autonomous underwater vehicles (AUV) can effectively solve the safety problems caused by plug-in charging. In this paper, three kinds of coil structures suitable for AUV cylindrical cabins are proposed, and the coupling characteristics of different coil structures are analyzed and compared with the help of finite element simulation software. Considering the misalignment problem caused by the impact of seawater currents during the actual operation of the AUV, the coupling characteristics of different misalignment conditions are studied based on the above coil structure. Finally, the relationship between the eddy current loss of the magnetic couplers and the resonant frequency in the seawater environment is analyzed.
