Research on Evaluation Method of Development Potential and Drilling Potential of Rolling Gas Field

Defining the development potential and drilling potential is the basis of the rolling development of gas field production planning. At present, there are few researches on gas field development potential and drilling potential, and the evaluation methods are relatively lacking, which is not conducive to the production planning of rolling gas field development. Therefore, based on the data of geological reserves and dynamic reserves, a quantitative evaluation method of development potential and drilling potential of rolling development gas field is established. The method consists of two evaluation models: (1) Based on the geological and dynamic reserves, the development potential evaluation model is established by using the typical well area method to determine the development potential of the gas field; (2) Based on the development potential of the gas field and the number of production wells, using the average dynamic reserve method of a single well, the evaluation model is established to determine the drilling potential of the gas field. The application research of X gas field shows that this method can closely combine the geology and development reality, and quickly evaluate the development potential and drilling potential of a rolling development gas field by combining dynamic and static, the evaluation results provide an important basis for the rational production planning of rolling development gas field. The construction of this evaluation method conforms to the overall development and planning concept of gas fields and is of great significance in grasping the scale of rolling development potential, guiding the reasonable and orderly release of potential, and realizing efficient development of gas fields.
