Abstract
Radical hysterectomy (RH) is the standard of care treatment for early-stage cervical cancer, making it a mandatory skill for a gynecologic oncologist. High surgical case volume is important to both fellowship training and patient outcomes. A decline in cervical cancer screening during the COVID-19 pandemic may have led to delayed diagnosis of early-stage cervical cancer and, subsequently, to a lower-case volume of RH. The purpose of this study was to compare RH case volume, cancer stage, and the treatment of cervical cancer before and after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
