The Front Cover shows the integrated preparation of anticancer enaminones from cheap and accessible biomass-derived furfural. The novel enaminones exhibit a poor Michael-Acceptor character, leading to a better safety profile due to reduced promiscuity in comparison with other cyclopentenones.
