Novel Application of Skills for Psychological Recovery as an Early Intervention for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Alcohol Misuse in Survivors of Recent Sexual Assault: A Case Series

•Skills for Psychological Recovery (SPR) was applied following recent sexual assault (SA).•The present case series successfully applies SPR to serve five recent SA survivors.•Survivors showed reductions in some mental health symptoms at follow up.•Future research should formally assess SPR following recent SA.
