Public opinion on embryo cryopreservation and disposition after the overturn of roe v. wade – a survey based study

On June 24, 2022, the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 Supreme Court decision that affirmed the constitutional right to abortion. The reversal of Roe v. Wade has significantly impacted women’s healthcare and placed other health practices, such as contraception and fertility treatment, at risk. In this setting, better understanding of public opinion on disposition of cryopreserved embryos is imperative.
