摘要

•Angiotensin II significantly increased in normotensive obese pregnant women and this was related to placental blood supply.•Placental blood supply was reduced in normotensive obese pregnant women at 30 weeks of gestation.•Our data suggest that RAS dysregulation may be a prerequisite of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy in obesity.
