Back Cover: Carrier‐free nanodrugs for stemness inhibition‐enhanced photodynamic therapy

Carrier-free nanoparticles are extensively investigated by virtue of their high drug loading capacity, simple preparation method and good biocompatibility. In this article (e284), Wang and co-workers developed a carrier-free nanoparticle self-assembled from Notch signalling inhibitor and photosensitizer chlorin e6. Efficient cancer stemness inhibition can sensitize cancer stem-like cells to photodynamic therapy, resulting in tumor elimination with less recurrence potential.
